Kapamilya Box Office (KBO) is a subscription digital terrestrial television channel exclusive to ABS-CBN TVplus users, Sky Direct subscribers and thru it's KBO website. It was initially launched in May 2015 as a pay-per-view channel intended for the historic boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. It was formerly registered as the "TVplus Xtra Channel" but became inactive after the coverage. By April 2016, the channel was renamed to KBO.
KBO's weekend programming includes a movie marathon from the film libraries of Star Cinema, Viva Films, Regal Films, independent film outfits and various Hollywood film studios, Myx simulcast (exclusively for ABS-CBN TVplus users), and a catch-up marathon of ABS-CBN's afternoon drama The Greatest Love. PPV events are also included to its programming on any day of the week (such as the live broadcast of Nonito Donaire-Zsolt Bedak boxing match in Cebu, Pinoy Pride fights, Star Magic Ball Red Carpet, One Music PH digital concerts and Halalan 2016 coverage).
TVplus users can watch KBO, provided that the user (thru text) subscribes to a low-cost service load from any cellular network, which can be reloaded weekly. PPV loads cost higher than the regular KBO load, which may include a bundled free data allowance from ABS-CBN's iWanTV online service.
KBO is the first attempt to have a terrestrial (over-the-air) subscription television channel in the country since the failure of Intelvision 68 in 1992.

KBO also announced "Super KBO" last August 2, 2016, which can cost P99 load any other week instead of usual P30 load. Super KBO airs featured movie that released few months after showing in theaters, live concerts, and other movies, aside from another featured programming in the regular KBO service. Super KBO is also available on SkyCable and Destiny Cable which includes 1 or 2 featured movies continuously viewing both in SD and HD as well as Sky On Demand VOD service, however, it ended its broadcast on Sky Cable, Destiny Cable, Sky On Demand & Sky Direct but it still broadcasts with its new PPV channel Star Cinema PPV will also broadcast on Sky Cable, Destiny Cable, Sky On Demand & Sky Direct.
On February 11-12 and 18-19, 2017, ABS-CBN TVplus offers free KBO service during its KBO Blowout promo, which features a movie marathon of the John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo team-up movies and recent Shake, Rattle and Roll installments, aside from other local and foreign films, Myx simulcast and PBB catch-up marathon. The special promo, which is part of TVplus' 2nd anniversary, was opened for TVplus users who are registered using any mobile network SIM card for a limited time only.

Channel lineup
Cine Mo!, Yey!, Knowledge Channel, DZMM TeleRadyo, and Kapamilya Box Office are encrypted and scrambled with Multi2-based encryption, because of that, thus requiring SMS activation to unscramble those channels. In addition, all non-encrypted digital terrestrial TV channels broadcast within the area of the household will also be carried.
